All religions are known for something.

Have you thought about how are JW's perceived by the public?

As an embarrassing joke!

Most people, politely, do not discuss their form of religion.

JW.org teaches their free labor people, to go out and discuss their religion, all of the time, to go find God's little sheep.

Do YOU think JW's should cram their brand of religion down everyone's throat??? What does knocking on private people's doors every Saturday mean to you? If I think they are God's ONLY way to salvation, I would go contact them, otherwise, JW's are BOTHERING aka bugging people. No one likes that. Normal people are too polite to generally kick JW's off their doorstep.

But most people think JW's are weird.

They think JW's are a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

Is that the group, YOU want to spend your valuable time with???

I listened from the 15 minute mark to the 22 minute mark.

Mostly through those 7 minutes he kept mentioning that Jehovah is with you. He was with Noah and Noah wasn't afraid.

Pure BRAINWASHING!!!

He said in areas of unrest in Chicago from gang warfare, 2 sisters walked around a dead, headless body and called the proper authorities, and still continued out!!! He suggested (?) to go with a group of 8, made up of 4 men and 4 women. As 2 talk, the other 6 stand around for protection. (I think that was his word).

He said the gangs are watching us.

BUT "Jehovah", (the warrior god of the Israelites) <----- my words..."will stand by us, when we need him the most".

-----> My words... THAT IS A BLANTANT LIE!!!

What year is a SAFE YEAR for the Watchtower Organization as far as having only produced NON-CHANGING doctrine during that entire year which will not become extinct in subsequent years?

this is a damning question to be asked of any loyal, active, devout jehovah's witness.. can you choose any year in the entire history of the org and say it is "safe from error"?.

if there is no single year ever free from error--in what reasonable way can jehovah being "guiding" the only "true" religion?.

what does it mean to be the only true religion if--at no time in your history--was what you were teaching actually true?.

so my step daughter came back from their international convention this weekend wearing jw.org bracelets and pins.

including a pin with a picture of caleb and another cartoon character girl from the jw website.

this makes me so sick.

over the past several months, we've seen a flood of youtube video's showing not just the advertising of the cities for the international conventions, but also of the "entertainment" happening at various convention halls and congregations.

examples would be the line-dancing, worldly music, dancing outside the conventions, etc.

many of us who grew up in this ultra-strict, thou-shalt-not cult are left with our jaws on the floor at this seemingly "worldly" display of showy, excessive, mainstream behaviour.. progress is happening.

my dad died recently and was a long time jw.

we have had some interesting experiences with his passing and have been researching for other jw stories and there are none.

anyone know why?

JW's are told to look for every opportunity to "make a witness".

"Witnessing" at the cemetery is something I participated in with my whole congo , circuit, district, all of America did it, in the 1950's.

I haven't heard of anyone doing it in decades.

I am glad someone took offense and WT preaching, can't be done at this particular cemetery, anymore.

I feel sorry for WT drones. They think they are doing a good work because they are told that, and if they are born in, they have never heard anything else.

I wish all JW's would wake up to WT lies.
